Our Story ....
PGI Nonwovens
appointed APPT as sole distributor of the
Chicopee range of low linting, silicone-free wiping cloths to the South
African Automotive Manufacturers.
PGI
Non-wovens is a global
company with
25 manufacturing
facilities and a turnover in excess of $ 1 Billion. Together
with
the European Motor Manufacturers, PGI Non-wovens developed
the
Chicopee range of speciality wiping cloths to meet the challenges of
new water– and powder based paint technology as well as the
increased quality requirements of the Global Automotive market.
Product
approval
has been received from all the major
European Motor Manufacturers, and most Paint Shops are using the
products. Global approval has also been received for
many products.
The
cloths are manufactured to strict quality standards at
the factory in Cuijk in the Netherlands, and are supplied in sealed
packs from the factory, to ensure that the customer receives the cloths
free of dirt and contamination.
In 2003, APPT was
also appointed distributor of the Industrial range of wiping cloths.
