CARTEX (Solvent Wiping)

Your
cloth has been provided to you folded to make wiping easier.

Remember
that the purpose of solvent wiping is to remove surface
residue, both visible and invisible, that can effect the
quality of
the paint finish, AND CAUSE
MICROBLISTERING.

The
cloth is best used when it is moist, and not soaking wet. If
the
cloth is too wet, WIPING MARKS or SWELLING MARKS could
result.
|
| 4 |
When
wiping horizontal surfaces, start from the middle and ensure a 50%
overlap of each wiping motion, making sure that the complete surface
area is covered.
|
| 5 |
Fold
the cloth in half, and then inside out to give 8 wiping
surfaces.
Never unfold the cloth and wipe with a single thickness of cloth.

Dispose
of cloths in the bins provided

purpose of KOTON is to remove surface residue, both visible and
invisible. after flatting and polishing of defects after application of
the final Topcoat.

| 3 |
When
wiping horizontal surfaces, start from the middle and ensure a 50%
overlap of each wiping motion, making sure that the complete surface
area is covered. |

Fold
the cloth in half, and then inside out to give 8 wiping
surfaces.
Never unfold the cloth and wipe with a single thickness of cloth. |

I-TACK (Dust Removal)

cloth has been provided to you folded to make wiping easier. Fold the
cloth once again to get a hand size
|
| 2 |
Remember
that the purpose of tack wiping is to remove surface residue
both visible and non-visible surface residue, that could effect the
quality of the paint finish.

| 3 |
I-TACK
is best used with light pressure and slow movements.
|
| 4 |
When
wiping horizontal surfaces, start from the middle and ensure a 50%
overlap of each wiping motion, and cover the complete surface area (see
drawing). |

Picture
frame the total surface area (see drawing).

| 6 |
Avoid
touching the cleaned surface |
| 7 |
Never
Stop in mid-panel. |
| 8 |
Use
a clean side of I-Tack for each car body (each cloth gives you 8 clean
wiping sides).
